This Festive Bikini – The Method
WHere is an easy take on a beverage featured on our latest menu. Designed as a party-sized pre-mixed which is bursting with tastes of a holiday season, which makes it ideal for your holiday party. Reserve the remaining cordial for breakfast cocktails, desserts, or to mix more rounds of this cocktail.
Bikini
Yields 10 servings
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach-flavored liqueur
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
Whole cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
For the Syrup: Place all the ingredients inside a pot, bring to a gentle boil, agitating to dissolve. Then, remove from the stove and let it to reach room temperature completely. Decant into a sterilised bottle, close it and refrigerate it chilled, where it will keep for around a month.
For the Batch Mix: Combine all the liquid ingredients into a large bottle, leave to sit for one hour, then pass it through preferably using a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
To serve: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base to a cocktail shaker packed with ice, gently stirring gently for a minute to chill. Pour to a chilled martini glass or equivalent, top with some cranberries and complete it with a light spray of mandarin oil over the drink.
